The State Security Committee of Belarus (KGB) has updated the list of organizations and individuals involved in terrorist activities. At present, there are 922 people on the list, including Andrei Pachobut, a journalist and leader of the Union of Poles in Belarus. He was added to the list on 4 October.
The Belarusian human rights community issued a joint statement on September 20.
The Grodno Regional Court sentenced, on Wednesday 14 September, the Belarusian journalist Denis Ivashin to 13 years and one month in prison. This follows from the response of the KGB Office for Grodno Region received by the journalist's wife Volha Ivashyna.
On 22 September, Hrodna.life editors received a decision from the Prosecutor’s Office of Hrodna Region. They were informed that Hrodna.life website is blocked and “access to its social media pages is restricted by including the identifier of this Internet resource in the list of restricted access”.
